Hello!

Hello American History B students! I'm glad you've made it here.

I'm Mrs. Steinhoff, a social studies teacher at Simley High School. This is my first year at Simley, but my 5th year teaching. I'm really excited for this trimester, because it includes some of my favorite U.S. history topics to talk about.

I grew up near Madison, Wisconsin, in the small town of Lodi. When I graduated I moved to Minnesota to go to college at the University of Minnesota Morris. In college I studied history and the other social sciences. I was also part of student government and on the cheer team.

Now I live in St. Paul with my husband, and soon a little baby girl. I have 5 younger brothers and sisters who still live in Wisconsin. When I'm not at school I like reading, photography, running, traveling, making jewelry and spending time with friends and family.
